Spectrum Generations Hosts Grand Opening

Spectrum Generations welcomed friends from Brunswick, Harpswell, and Sagadahoc County to the Grand Opening of the Southern Midcoast Community Center in mid-February, located at 12 Main Street, Topsham.
Ongoing services available at the Center include resource and referral assistance for senior citizens and adults with disabilities; assistance with navigating Medicare; and screening for other public programs such as fuel assistance. Staff can provide up-to-date information on housing options, legal services, home-care, transportation, care-giver support and wellness programs.

The Southern Midcoast Community Center also serves approximately 100 Meals on Wheels consumers throughout our community. These meals are delivered by a dedicated group of volunteers, many of whom have been involved for several years. Center staff are in the planning stages of a dining program; stay tuned for further details.
Finally, the Center will offer a wide array of classes, trips, and activities for active adults of all ages, including health screenings, AARP's Driver Safety Course, and craft and technology classes. Please drop by and see the new Center at 12 Main Street, Topsham. For a calendar of activities, please call 729-0475 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
