On Tuesday, September 26 at 6:00PM at Topsham Public Library, Erik Nelson, Professor of Economics at Bowdoin College, will review how economic analysis has been used to influence US environmental policy at the federal and local levels. Nelson will also review how economists perceive the global climate change problem and some of the climate change mitigation policies that economists have recommended.
This lecture is presented in collaboration with Cathance River Education Alliance (CREA) a non-profit organization dedicated to using the resources of the Cathance River Preserve to educate students, educators, and the public. Check their website at www.creamaine.org.
