On April 15, 2017 at 10:00AM Harpswell Radio Project will give an overview of community radio and outline the various ways that people can participate both on and off air. A question and answer session will be included, and a basic DJ training session will be offered to those interested in the process of learning about radio production and the equipment involved. There will be future opportunities for more advanced training for those interested. This presentation is free and open to the public.

Harpswell Radio Project, Inc is an organization formed by several Harpswell residents to establish a public access, educational, non-commercial broadcast low power FM facility for the Harpswell, Maine community. The goal is to provide an outlet for individuals and organizations to air content that they have produced. This content may be as diverse as the community itself and the intent is to encourage production and airing of uniquely local content.
