Harpswell Invasive Plant Partnership iMap Training

Harpswell Invasive Plant Partnership iMap Training

Date: Thu. 16 Apr, 2015 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes

The Harpswell Invasive Plant Partnership is a collaborative effort to address the problem of invasive plants in Harpswell. This year the group plans to focus on looking closely at some of the public areas in Harpswell and the edges of major roads to determine the locations and extents of these infestations. There will be two training sessions. The iMap training session will take place from 1-3:30 p.m. at Harpswell Heritage Land Trust, 153 Harpswell Neck Road. During this free session, volunteers will learn how to use a mapping tool called iMap. This is an easy-to-use Internet-based system. No prior expertise in mapping is necessary to participate. Please register in advance by contacting Julia McLeod at outreach@hhltmaine.org or 207-837-9613.
